Corpus Description

This corpus contains longform, child-centered audio recordings, primarily collected with LENA devices, from 5-81-month-old children acquiring south Bolivian Quechua/Spanish. All children were typically-developing, per caregiver report. The level of exposure to both languages varies greatly between children and between households (there are several siblings). Some participants contributed more than one recording, usually within the span of 1 week. Demographic information on the children and caregivers, including languages spoken in the home, family structure, language attitudes, and caregiver characteristics is available. The corpus has an array of human-generated annotations, including but not limited to, languages spoken, speech registers, and child speech content.

This corpus is under restricted access.
