TalkBank MotorSpeechBank

MotorSpeechBank is being created as a shared database of multimedia interactions for the study of communication in people with acquired motor speech disorders. Access to the data in MotorSpeechBank will be password protected and restricted to members of the MotorSpeechBank consortium group.

Researchers, educators, and clinicians working with aphasia who are interested in joining the consortium should first click the green Login button in the upper right of the screen to register for TalkBank, then read the Ground Rules and send email to talkbank@cmu.edu with contact information and affiliation. Please include a brief general statement about how you envision using the data.

Students or laboratory workers interested in using the data must ask their faculty advisors to join as members. The advisors must submit their own request for membership to us directly as well as any request for their students' access with a specified start and end date. We will not respond to requests sent only by students, and faculty advisors must accept full responsibility for their students' use of the data and media.
